Could Persistent Pressure In Bladder Be A Symptom Of UTI?
I have SLE . For the past 3 - 4 weeks I ve had what I believed to be symptoms of a yeast infection. But using monostat has only helped to relieve the itching and now I m experiencing the pressure pants of feeling like I need to pee after emptying my bladder. Home test kit strip indicated positive Leukocytes and negative Nitrite. In your opinion could these false indications of a UTI brought on by Lupsus or will I need an antibiotic?
You feel the need to pee after emptying the bladder and your urine shows leukocytes. You have lupus erythromatosus. You had itching in vagina too. Presence of leucocytes and need to pee after emptying the bladder indicates you have urinarytract infection. If your symptom of pee was without leukocytes and could had plenty of red blod cells , casts, and pfotien in urine then we could think of lupus. Now it is clear you have Urinarytractinfection. For this you haveto get your urine tested and cultured . Smear of vagina should too beexamined and cultured.Treatment will be decided after the reports.
