Could Persistent Severe Pain In Navel Be Due To Appendicitis?
11 year old girl, with pain in her navel area fro more than 48 hrs wont eat, trouble sleeping. constant pain but worse at times. no fever ,no vomiting just lots of pain. wwent to prompt care, they couldnt find the problem. exrayed stomach? not constipated. could it be appendex?
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
I don't think you have appendicitis. The common symptom of appendicitis is severe abdominal pain. The pain is unbearable making the person to run to the Emergency Room. This pain is mostly on the right side of navel. It makes the patient to vomit anything he eats.
I do not think what you are experiencing is appendicitis. It must be some kind of a non-specific colitis. Drink plenty of water to keep yourself well hydrated & consult a doctor.
