Could Pink Brownish Spotting Post Unprotected Sex Indicate Implantation Bleeding?

Hello, After having unprotected sex for about a week or so after my last period I noticed something different in my cycle. For the past 6 days I have been experiencing spotting. Well actually it was only present right after sex, or after I urinate and wipe I would see a light pinkish brownish watery discharge, however, for the past two days I ve had to wear a liner. It is still light pinkish brown and watery and no where near heavy spotting or even a light period. It looks like plain spotting except it s not red or brown. Is this implantation bleeding or just something else? It s two days before my period should start (however when i started my last period i started 3 days late so I m not sure how that changes anything) and all of the pregnancy tests are saying negative. I don t know what to do...

Hello and welcome to HCM,
I would like to give you some information before I answer your queries.
Pregnancy test becomes positive 10-14 days after unprotected sex.
Thus, urine pregnancy test should be carried out 10-14 days after unprotected sex.
Implantation occurs around 6th day after unprotected sex.
Implantation may be accompanied by light pink discharge, lower abdominal pain, bloating sensation, increased appetite etc.
A negative pregnancy rules out pregnancy for practical purposes.
The spotting that you are experiencing could be due to onset of menstruation or it could be spotting that accompanies ovulation.
You can wait for the onset of periods.
Little variation in cycles is not of any consequence.

Thanks and take care
