Could Precancerous Cells In A Bump On Head Indicate Brain Cancer?
I had a itchy bump on the back of my head for over a year. It was taken off at the Dermatologist last week and it came back as precancerous cells . I have to go back to get Liquid nitrogen on it. I have had terrible headaches ,dizziness since it been removed. Is there a chance I could have brain cancer?
The symptoms like headache, dizziness, nausea or co ordination problems may be indicative of developing brain cancer, however it can be only confirmed after all the tests & investigations are done. Do not take stress before hand, just relax. Stay well hydrated, take healthy home made food. Take adequate sleep & maintain healthy lifestyle. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a Neurosurgeon. Get CT scan and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and other tests like an angiogram, spinal tap and biopsy done at the earliest. The diagnosis of the pathology will help to start the treatment at the earliest.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
