Could Prolonged Vaginal Bleeding And Clotting Be Normal During Medical Termination Of Pregnancy?

Sir my wife is 46 days pregnant. We have used unwanted kit. 1 mifepristone given after 24 hrs 2 misoprostol and after 6 hrs 2 more misoprotol. She started normal bleeding, cloting and cramping till 6 hrs. But after 9 hrs of second dose of misoprostol, she is still bleeding 1 pad and cloting bigger in every 2 hrs. What should I do.

Hello and Welcome to Healthcare magic forum!

The bleeding is quite normal for the positive pregnancy, but as you said that there are bigger clots, If the following symptoms are there the I would suggest you to go to your gynaecologist as soon as possible:

1) If there is severe bleeding i.e. soaking 2 large pads in an hour

2) Passing the clots which are equal to the size of a golf ball or more bigger

3) Bleeding heavily for 12 hours in a row

Wishing your wife Good Health!
