Could Reappearing Boil Like Things On Thigh Leaving Behind Scars Indicate Staph Infection Or MRSA?

Hi, I ve been getting these boil like things on my left upper thigh, on the back side, well this had been going on for almost 3 months & I have many scars from them, & as soon as it goes away, another one appears again. I looked it up online & it says it can be a staph infection or MRSA. & I wanted to know, what you think about it, thank you in advance.

Hi, you rightly got it. This infection is often caused by Staphylococcus. Recurrent boils could be indicating that there is an underlying disease. Possible risk factors include diabetes, obesity and immunosuppression, just to name a few. In my opinion, I would suggest that in addition to taking treatment for boils, you should also be screened for these diseases. I hope I have answered your query.
I wish you good health
