Could Recurred Slight Cough With On And Off Fever Suggest Hay Fever?

PHi, i have been having slight cough for couple of months now with mild fever 39celsius intermittently. My GP pointed out that it could be hay fever. I was prescribed anti histamines and cough suppressants. Lately my cough is back and so is my intermittent fever. Most of the time i have fever at near 8pm and lasts for and hour and half. Any help is appreciated.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Hay fever can be a possibility. If you have done all routine test and rule out other conditions which cause fever then you can continue treatment with your physician with regular follow up. But if you get a high intemittent fever then you should get a peripheral smear for malaria and should be repeated 8 hourly.A graphical representation of your fever pattern can also give clue to the type of fever. That is possible only if you get admitted to hospital.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
