Hi there and thank you for your question.
I can understand that this is quite a problematic issue for you and I'll try help you as best I can.
As far I know and what I've seen in clinical practice, there isn't a correlation between primary
liver disease and secondary
boils.
These boils you mention sound like sores caused by a bacterial infection which then complicate and cause small abscesses which end up draining. The bacteria involved would most probably be
Staphylococcus aureus which is a normal bacterium found on the skin.
What could be happening is that the bacteria get into the follicles of your hair and then grow rapidly thus causing an infection.
You could just make sure that you wash your head and hair with shampoo about 3-4 times a week. This helps to clear the pores and follicles making it more difficult for bacteria to creep in there and start causing problems.
When the sores are at the point where they are draining pus, you can clean the areas with a saline (salt water) solution 3-4 times a day. This helps the area to drain better by clearing any hardened crust and you kill off bacteria with the salt in the solution. After this you can apply antibiotic creams such as
Neosporin or
Fucidin 3 times a day for maximum 7 days.
If the problem still persists then I would suggest seeing your GP to prescribe
oral antibiotics to clear the problem.
I hope this helps answer your question and good luck.
