Could Recurring, Dark, Itchy Bumps On Arm And Wrist Be Diabetic Sores?

Yes, I would like to know what doe diabetic sores look like? I am a diabetic and I have these dark itchy bumps on my arms, there is 4 in a row on my left and one on my right wrist and 2 on the back side of my arm they have been here for a long time, they itch really bad when I scratch them they get raised. I have been to several dermatologist they give me medication that will work in the beginning but stops, the bumps seems to be going away, but they come right back. Can someone help me please, I m so uncomfortable.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely a photodermatitis as it is occuring in sunlight exposed areas.Prevention is the best treatment for this disease, when possible that is avoiding sun exposure.Once photodermatitis has occurred, the basis of therapy is to minimize the inflammation in the damaged skin while treating painful symptoms as well. Steroid creams or tablets may be prescribed. Antibacterial creams such as silvadene may be prescribed for burnlike reactions. Do limit the amount of limes, celery, carrots, and figs in your diet, because these contain natural psoralens (sun sensitizers).Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
