Could Recurring Dry Heaves With Strange Taste In Mouth Indicate Anxiety?
I get the dry heaves frequently in the mornings. They are not triggered by smells or any pain with them. No I am not pregnant. Yes I'm sure. I have a strange taste in my mouth during the day I experience the heaves almost like peroxide flavored. Am I suffering from anxiety or panic attacks or worse?
As per your query you are experiencing dry heaves and strange taste in mouth . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like :-
- Dental infection or gum disease like gingivitis .
- Any infection like upper respiratory track infection and sinusitis .
- Side effect of some medicine like antibiotics and antihistamine .
I would suggest you to consult dentist for proper diagnosis . Doctor will examine physically . Doctor may perform complete oral prophylaxis . Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist . For now maintain proper oral hygiene . Brush you teeth twice a day and rinse mouth with antiseptic mouthwash like listrine .
Hope your concern has been resolved. Get well Soon. Best wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
