Could Recurring Fever In A Diabetic Be Due To Viral Infection?
my daughter has type 1 diabetes. one week ago she ran a high fever and had slight cough and fatigue. blood work showed good white count and negative for influenza. felt better after week of fever and now a week later fever back 101.9. Is it just virus?
As your history suggests it is clearly due to viral infection nothing else. For this you have to take tab cefixime 200 mg or tab droxyl 500 mg twice daily after meals with tab nimeson-p or tab akilos-p twice daily after meals for body-ache, fever and fatigue with tab rantac or tab famotid twice daily empty stomach. For cough you have to take syrup ambrodil-s or syrup respital-p 2 tsf three times daily. Also do cold sponging to reduce the temperature of your body and to get relief from fever.
