Could Recurring Headache, High Fever And Stomach Ache Be Viral Infection?
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...my daughter has had headache since saturday dinner, now has high fevers 39.1, sickness, and complaining of stomach ache. He stomach isn't running. Her medication is taking her temp down to 38 but returns high every 4-6 hours. Her headaches are making her quite sick, and the medication doesn't take the pain away. Is this a viral infection?
Hi, from the information provided, your daughter is suffering from acute systemic infection (bacterial or viral). you have not provided names of medicines that she takes, and any blood test if any? If i were your treating doctor than i would suggest 1) To do test for fever profile (widal, cbc, lepto, urine complete analysis) which you can discuss with your physician. 2) regarding stomach pain, it may be caused due to high drug dosage or of offending pathogens. Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
