Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Big Toe is red, slightly swolled. Pain is mostly in the right corner of the toe, there small yellow skin (kinda of like a small bubble) on the right of the nail. The nail itself is fine. Is it a fungal infection or a infection due to ingrown toenails?
Hi, It seems that you might be having nail bed infection giving this problem. Fungal infection is less likely as your toe nail is fine. Go for one antibiotic medicine course for 3-5 days. clean the part and dress with antibiotic cream. Ok and take care.
