A friend's child has had three siezures in the last five months- his whole body stiffens and his color changes. While children can have seizures without developping epilepsy usually due to high fever, it has been shown that those children have a higher probability of having epilepsy than those who don't have febrile seizures, moreover so when there are repeated seizures like in your case.
