Could Severe Acid Reflux Be Related To Condition Of The Heart?

I have had open heart surgery. and since had a heart attack and had a stent put in... but I have acid reflux everday.. its so bad that it comes up in my throat.. could this have any thing to do with my heart..i take several rolaids a day just to find some what of a relief..
