Hi,
Acidity in the diet is unlikely to directly cause muscle pain, but it can exacerbate certain conditions that can lead to muscle pain, such as acid reflux or
gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Acid reflux can cause pain and discomfort in the chest, throat, and upper abdomen, but it is generally not associated with muscle pain.
Muscle pain in the thighs can have several possible causes, including nerve compression,
muscle strain or injury, poor circulation, or conditions such as
fibromyalgia. In your case, the herniated discs and pinched nerve in your back are likely contributing to the muscle pain in your thighs. The nerve compression can cause
referred pain or muscle spasms in other parts of the body, including the legs.
The use of Norco (a combination of
hydrocodone and
acetaminophen) can also contribute to muscle pain as a side effect. Additionally, prolonged use of opioid pain medications can cause
muscle weakness and make it difficult to perform physical activities that can help prevent muscle pain.
It is important to discuss your symptoms and concerns with your healthcare provider to determine the underlying cause of your muscle pain and develop an appropriate treatment plan. This may include addressing any underlying conditions, adjusting your medication regimen, or implementing lifestyle changes to improve your overall health and reduce your risk of muscle pain.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
