Could Severe Chest Spasms Be Related To Vitamin Deficiency?
I have been getting severe chest spasms in the rib area for several years, maybe 1 or 2 every few months. Now I get them regularly. I don t have to be exerting myself, just sitting in a chair and then moving my body to one side will bring them on. They happen on either side of the chest but not at the same time. Could this be a vitamin deficiency?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Chest spasms what you are getting frequently could be not only due to Vitamin E deficiency, but also due to Calcium deficiency. Kindly take diet rich in calcium like consumption of milk regularly, which provides good quantity of calcium and phosphorus required to strengthen bones and muscles. Also calcium can be supplemented by consuming syrups or tablets. Along with it you can take capsules containing anti-oxidant medications like Vitamin E, Selenium, Vitamin A and Vitamin C. It should help you to overcome the problem what you are facing. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
