Could Severe Cramps And Loose Stools Be Due To Ischemic Colitis?

I was diagnosed with ischemic colitis about a year and a half ago. I was worked up and end result was that the cause was probably vasospasms. I was told to take a baby aspirin every day. Prior to the diagnosis, and subsequently, I have experienced multiple episodes of similar severe cramping pain & loose stools, however no blood. I have found that caffeine seems to be a precipitating factor to these episodes and have limited my intake of caffeine to one serving of cola approximately 3-4 days per week. Should I be concerned about IBS or some other GI condition or do the symptoms seem more related to the ischemic colitis?
