Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My boyfriend has been nauseated every time he gets up and his gait is unsteady. We went to urgent care this afternoon and he got 1 liter of D5LR and Zofran. He felt better and they chalked it up to dehydration. I questioned vertigo and they said no. Now that he has been home (5 hours later) it is back. Does he need to see an ENT?
To me, your boyfriend needs a series of blood investigations and to rule out ENT and heart problems. So, needs to consult with ENT specialist and cardiologist respectively. Keep giving plenty of fluids and hydrated. ORS mixed with plain water can help.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
