Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Contracted gallbladder indicates chronic gall bladder inflammation.

This could be due to stone obstructing the duct or any parasitic warm.
This contracted gallbladder further causes obstruction to the the pancreatic duct, that will causes severe symptoms.

Get a blood profile for raised bilirubin levels, and serum amylase and lipase which are indicators of gallbladder and pancreas inflammation.
On the other way contracted gallbladder is also occur if the ultrasound taken after meals or fatty meal due to release of enzymes from it.
You can double check it by repeat scan before you go to any surgical exploration.
Mean while avoid fatty food.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Thank you.
