Could Severe Pain In Tailbone Be Related To Injured L2 And L3?
My husband had a lawn mower accident and had surgery on his Lumbar 2 and 3. They put in 2 rods and 6 screws. His L 2 was broken in serveral places. He is having a lot of pain in his tail bone. Could that have been broken in the accident. The x-ray reports also mentions his L 4.
Dear friend, the pain your husband experiencing can be due to various reason ,most commonly a local infection and broken tailbone.if there is infection then then a good broadspectrum antibiotic should be given to him.to know the condition of the bones on that location you should go for a x-ray photograph .it will clearly tell whether the bone over there is broken or not.in this way you can properly investigate the condiotion of the vertebral bone of L2,3 and 4.thank you.
