Could Severe Tiredness And Frequent Urination Be Symptoms Of Diabetes?
I have been diagnosed with hashimotos disease and I am taking Levothyroxine tablets75 mg. I have noticed I am urinating frequently and am worried it may be linked to diabetes as my grandfather had a goitre and diabetes. I start the day energetic and by five o clock I am exhausted
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
Hashimoto's disease is an autoimmune disease in which the thyroid gland is attacked by immune system causing primary hypothyroidism. Common symptoms include fatigues, weight gain, pale or puffy face, feeling cold, joint and muscle pain, constipation, dry and thinning hair, heavy menstrual flow or irregular periods, depression, etc.
The severe tiredness and frequent urination you are facing should be a symptom of lack of thyroid hormone by hashimoto disease. So you should not be worried for diabetes. You can do a blood sugar test to confirm also.
Don't worry you should be fine hoping your query is solved
