Could Sharp Pain In Mons Pubis Area Be Symptomatic Of Metastatic Prostrate Cancer?
Hello, I am 49 years old, 6 2, 234...last June I had a radical prostatectomy as a result of prostate cancer. Multiple lymph nodes were removed and pathology revealed no sign of metastasis. Since October of 2014 I ve been dieting and exercising and have lost 47 poiunds. In the last couple of weeks I ve been experiencing a burning sensation with occasional sharp pain in the right side of my mons pubis area. I ve also notice some swelling. Exercise seems to worsen the situation so I ve cut it back the last couple of days. Made an appointment with my primary care physician tomorrow. I think it may be a hernia pressing agianst a nerve but is there any chance this could be symptomatic of matastatic prostate cancer?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if the malignant condition being treated accordingly then there would be no chance for metastasis but the symptom of burning could be due to something else but may not be due to malignancy, hope this information helps, take care.
