Could Small Red Patches Around The Ankles Be Caused Due To Varicose Veins?
My dad has small red patches around his ankles on both legs. He s on blood thinners, cholesterol meds, invokana, and metformin. He s also complaining about pain from varicose veins. Would the red patches that look like a rash be caused from the varicose veins? He was told it was related to the veins but I didn t think that was the reason.
for blood thinner there can be hemorrhagic patches and they can be stopped. bleeding and clotting time should be done for monitoring varicose vein is separate problem apply crape bandage and avoid standing for long time. while sleeping raise the leg with pillow
