Could Sore Buttocks Post Anal Intercourse Indicate STD?
Hello doctor, I would like the know if there are risks of contracting anything from receiving a rim job. My ass has been sore from receiving a rim job, but thats been the only symptom. Only thing that worries me is that its been sore for 3 weeks now.. what tests should I have done?
Anal sex has a higher risk of spreading sexually transmitted infection, than any other type of sexual activity, this is because the linings of the anus is thin and can be easily damaged during intercourse, and this makes this area highly susceptible to infections, like STDs and even bacteria and viral infection.
I would suggest you attend an STD clinic for samples to be collected and treatment commenced based on the results, they might need your partner to be treated as well, the other option is if it is possible to buy the kit online/ at the chemist for home testing then this can be done and medication requested from your family physician or STD center.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Joy Anosike, General & Family Physician
