Could Sore Throat After Oral Sex Suggest STD?

Five days ago, I gave someone oral sex on their penis and licked their semen...and they just went to the doctor today to get tested for an std because they were discharging some white liquid from the penis, had painful urination, and had a swollen penis head. This morning I woke up with a relatively sore throat. I'm scared that I might have contracted an std from him and am not sure whether or not to see the doctor. Can you give me some insight on how common it is to receive an std with the symptoms I have given all the symptoms he has(by way of oral sex)? Thank you

IN short: Go for check up

Explanation: Unprotected intercourse whether oral/anal/vaginal can cause infection with unknown person. SO, please go for STD check up as early as possible.
