Could Sores Below The Waist Be Staph Sores And Can They Be Treated With OTC Drugs?
I d like to find out about how a person gets a staph infection. My husband is getting frequent sores(all below the waist, so far) that I believe are staph sores. He s going to a dermatalogist soon, but what can do to treat them in the meantime with OTC products?
Hello Staph infection is a bacterial infection and as you have mentioned in the history that your husband is having frequent sores below the waist, the first thing to be ruled out is viral infection in the form of herpes. Herpes infection is known to be recurrent. Hence do consult your dermatologist for examination and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
