Could Spasms In Shoulder Be Due To Steroid Injection In Lower Back?

Hi, My husband had a steroid shot into lower back for reducing inflamation. There was no herniated disc, but he has arthritic spur and inflamation. Shot was given and later that day his left shoulder spasmed and he couldn t move. Is this what they call a steroid flare?

Well come to HCM
If this is shoulder pain after the shot of steroid then this may not be due to any steroid shot effect but this could be due to muscular spasm and this is nothing to take anything with steroid, hope this information helps, take care, have a nice day.
