Could Stabbing Pain In Shoulders Be Related To Bruised Ribs?

i fell down 3 stairs over a week ago and hit my ribs on my left side. It has been sore and i have been wrapping it daily and has been feeling better yesterday when i cough or take a deep breathe i am getting stabbing pain in the middle of my shoulder blade. Could this be related to my hurting my ribs?

the pain is mostly due to the fall
I would advise you to have an xray taken so as to know the extent off injury
you can use a rib belt till than
give ice fomentation
tab enzoflam twice daily along with pantop can be taken
take care
