Could Stomach Aches Accompanied With Missed Period Indicate Pregnancy?

Hi me and my gf were having sex and we r nt even sure if precum was there but she still had an i pill as a counter measure she is 5days up from her due date and she is facing severe stomach aches everyday and the home pregnancy kit shows a negative wat can it be?

I am Dr Nilajkumar a consultant gynecologist and I will be helping you in your queries.

The home pregnancy kit will not give positive results before 7-10 days after the missed period. So it is better to repeat it after a week. If she has taken I pill within 72 hours the chances are low. The pain may be due impending menstruation or pregnancy or cause unrelated to pregnancy like gastro enteritis.

If the pain is severe, she will need an evaluation by a doctor. So it is better to get her examined. The only way to rule out pregnancy is by a urine test 7 days later or a blood test now.
