Could Stomach Cramps, Headache And Vomiting Of A 9 Year Old Be Due To Heat Stroke?
My 9 year old has had stomach cramps all day and a severe head ache half of the day. She has just started vomitting and hasn t been urinating today. We have had alot of hot weather could she have heat stroke? She won t drink or eat because she feels so ill.

thanks for your question. well it is possible that she may have heat stroke. first try anti vomitting medication like emeset. and put her in a cooler environment.
start on liquids with juices may half a glass every 40 minutes...preferably ors. if she doesnot pass urine in 18 hours then you need to visit hospital immediately for intravenous fluids.
