Could Swelling In Feet Be The Symptom Of Heart Failure?

sodium was low L-125 last week and feet swelling. brought it up by intake of chicken soup, pink salt, v-8 juice, salty intake. one week later low glucose-blood work read C-49, ProBNP H-438, creatinine H-1.63. PC Dr. said because I am malnutritioned it can cause the heart or kidney issues/symptons but be corrected with proper nutrition, protein, fruits, carbs. Feet swelling like balloon and now first time ankle swollen-both feet. Can this be symptons of heart failure. Does not want to go to ER. Been many times over past couple years and many tests. Weight loss started 2 yrs. ago. Periodically looses use of legs, urine, bowels, vomits clear liquids. Was an alcoholic. I am concerned family member, caregiver. thanks.
