Could Switching From Losar-H To Olmesartam Medoximil For BP Cause Shortness Of Breath And Increased Heart Rate?
Using Losar-H for more than 10 years for treating High BP and It was stable 140/90.Recently developed blackouts while standing from indian Pattern comodes. After Holter monitoring,ECG and echo testing nothing was found abnormal. My Doctor suggested Olmesartam medoximil 20 mg.After taking this medicine for 6 months,I feel incerased palpitation and short breathe whlie bending downward or walking only 50 mts. Is this any side effect or any heart related problem ?My age is 54 years. Please suggest remedial measure.
The symptoms may not be related to the change of medicine You need to be investigated for Coronary Artery Disease – TMT (Treadmill Exercise ECG) - with thallium isotope - is the ideal non-invasive way to evaluate ischemia / to assess the PHYSIOLOGY (function)
Good luck Take care Wishing all well God bless
