Could Swollen Eye Be Related To Head Injury?

My daughter suffered a head injury the other day during a soccer game She has a swolen eye now. Can they be connected? A concussion was ruled out but now her one eye is swolen. Only the lower lid. She also started wearing new make up so I am not sure what it is.

Hello, around eye area having loose skin,so around eye area is the first place to collect fluid or blood in injury to face or head.In case of head injury blood or fluid collection will be seen around eye in case of gravity also. But this is not very serious condition,it will heal itself like any other bruise.
But in your case concussion ruled out,so it may be just fluid collection, this will reduce by itself. This is may not be due to new makeup since it is in one eyelid only.
