Could Taking Magnesium Supplement With Warfarin Cause Any Problem?

I have just started taking a 250g Magnesium supplement for night leg cramps and it seems to be very effective. I am also taking Warfarin with Inr between 2.0 and 3.0. The Magnesium supplement is a combination of magnesium oxide and magnesium stearate. Should there be any expected problem with the warfarin?

Hi
There is no harmful interactions between Warfarin and Magnessium supplement (Magnesium oxide and magnesium stearate) hence can be taken safely for the treatment of nocturnal leg cramps.
But you must see it to that the normal INR should be maintained during the course of therapy.
Hope this answers your query.
