Could The Bronchitis With Fever, diarrhea And Green Stool Be Pneumonia?
My 3 year old was diagnosed with bronchitis two days ago. After being on antibiotics and cough medicine for 48 hours, his symptoms remain the same. High fever (102 to 103.5), loss of appetite, diarrhea, irritability, and periods of being very lethargic. Now his loose stool is bright green. Could this be pneumonia?
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe, it could be enteric fever,or viral fever with superinfection with bacteria. I advise you to consult a pediatrician for diagnosis and treatment. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin, paracetamol, cough syrup with C.P.M, lactic acid bacilli. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
