Could The Cramps And Nausea Be Due To Ectopic Pregnancy?

I got a positive on a home pregnancy test and went to the doc. After the internal exam, she told me that my uterus is bulky, confirming the pregnancy. I'm now in my sixth week of pregnancy and have started having nausea. I get cramps sometimes on my left side. They are very mild. But I've been reading about ectopic pregnancies and I'm worried if I'm having one. I've not had any bleeding or spotting so far though there is an increase in vaginal discharge. Do you feel my pregnancy sounds normal? I'm 25 and this is my first pregnancy. Thanks!
