Could The Ear Lump With Pain Be An Infection?

Hi I have just recently found a tiny bump behind my left ear, right where the bone meets the lobe, it didn t hurt at all until I touched it and now I can t get bad thoughts out of my mind. I recently got put new ear guages in and I m thinking maybe it could be an infection. But idk. I have severe anxiety so I m freaking out any advice could really help! Thanks!

This may be lymph node and this may not be due to infection but because of the anxiety you are taking this seriously else this is nothing to worry and even no need to treat this, no matter if this does not comes around, hope this helps.
