I m an RN and I remember in school we studied a cardiac condition in which an unusual symptom was the feeling of a lump in the throat and feeling like you needed to clear your throat. This had something to do with an arrhythmia and now I can t seem to find information, now that it s happening to me. My family doctor looks at me funny. I now have been diagnosed with mild MVP from an echo, my heart rate will be in the 70-80 s and drop suddenly to 30-40 s when these symptoms begin.
