Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have external hemorrhoids that I ve had since my children were born. I am a 33 year old female, healthy, hypothyroidism. Recently, I started experiencing a painful tailbone area. This is new and alarming. I thought it might be a pilonidal cyst, but doctor said she didn t see or feel one. Could this pain in tailbone be caused by the hemorrhoids?
