Hi there I m 32 weeks pregnant and a virgin I m scared that,I might get in trouble from the midwifes when I m giving birth as,my hymen is not broken. Will I be able to give a normal delivery? Will my baby be in danger? And if I do give a normal birth will my hymen be broken? I would be really grateful if u can answer my question thanks
I am not sure if the question is clear and if you are really referring to the hymen. If you are pregnant then surely there must have been a sexual intercourse before pregnancy and the hymen must be broken already.
Hymen is a thin membrane that covers the vagina before sexual intercourse. It breaks mostly when women begin an active sex life and may also break due to trauma from a fall or injury to the area.
So it is not likely for a pregnant woman to have an intact hymen.
Kindly clarify if you meant the hymen or something else so that I may be able to help you better.
