Could The In Take Of Aspirin Result In Having Blood In Urine?
Hi Doctor, I just came back from seeing my gynecologist for a once a year routine check up. She told me under the microscope I had a little blood in my urine. Now I have taken a baby aspirin everyday for about the last year and a half, could the aspirin be the cause.
Aspirin can make a lesion in the bladder bleed earlier than usual. Usually blood thinners rarely initiate a bleed of their own. They make it more easier for a cause to bleed rather than cause the bleed themselves. Any blood in the urine should be investigated with CT scan of the kidneys/ bladder, and cystoscopy.
