Hi,

Suspicious of aspirin induced hematuria. Based on the given history an increase in the dose of aspirin for more than 81 mg seems to have caused hematuria (blood in the urine). I advise you to take the low dose (81 mg) of aspirin as before and consult your treating doctor to rule out other causes of hematuria such as kidney stones, infection or tumors.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
