Could The Increased Dosage Of Medformin Be The Cause For Loose Bowels?
hi Doc, i am taking medformin and the doage was uped about 5 to 6 months ago. 2 500mg in morning and 1 500mg in the evening. i notice that i have loose bowels a lot now for maybe 3 or 4 days and then stops a day or two and then starts up again. could this be because of the medicine/
hi, I'm not sure you meant metformin because the doses you are using are very high. Metformin is unsafe above the dose of 3 grams per gay. I believe this is the one causing loose bowels in you. I would suggest you to re visit your doctor and request for a change of medication or at least dose reduction, before toxic effects take toll of your health. All the best.
