Could The Low Dosage Of Antibiotic Sufficient For Undiagnosed Chlamydia?
I recently had unprotected sex with a new partner and he said he was infected and diagnosed with chlamydia and was prescribed doxycycline 100 mg . My tests however came back negative, however i told my doc that i would still like to be treated. He prescribed azithromycin 250 mg 1 tab and said that it was enough. My question is, is that tx enough?
Hi, Thanks for asking. Based on your query, my opinion is as follows. 1. Yes, it is enough. 2. Its the dosage prescribed for chlamydia and it works well, if its chlamydia. 3. Do take the treatment, it will help. Hope it helps. Any further queries, happy to help again.
