Could The Pain In Arms And Shoulders Be Due To Cellulitis?

Hi, Advice needed if possible. 5 weeks ago I was bitten whilst on holiday in Florida (I am from UK). I did not see what insect bit me, but have been treated here with antibiotics/painkillers and am now trying anti-inflammatory tablets. My GP suspected cellulitis. However the pain keeps returning in my arms and shoulders. (I am a COPD patient, so have to be careful what medication I take). I am due to have blood tests next week - but wondered if you might have any suggestions for treatment. My symptoms in first instance was swelling of arms, inability to lift arms, then pain in left groin, then next day pain in right groin - then one arm, then the other. This is now easier but does not seem to be going away.

Any advice would be much appreciated, as the pain wakes me at night.
