helo sir, my dad is 48years old, he's suffering from chest pain since 2years. more often he gets the pain below the chest .and he is thinking that it may be chest pain.but doctors are saying that it is muscle pain and due to gas troule it is happening. nowadays he is getting the pain daily. and at that time he is facing digestion problem. he is not abke to take the food properly, n he lost 10kgs of weight...he is using tablets for gas.. so please reply me in this regard...
As you had already done check up with physician and ruled out the causes related to cardiac issue. As per your physician, that pain is because of muscle pain or due to the gas, so I think it may be the cause of chest pain.
Acid Reflux causes the burning sensation in the upper gastrointestinal tract and sometimes there is a referral pain which causes chest pain. For that, I will suggest you to take tablet Pantoprazole and syrup Mucaine gel 10 ml.
Along with that, I will advise you to take soft diet, daily exercise for 30 to 45 minutes, take a light diet, don't sleep after the meal, take a light food in the evening and go for walking after meal.
I will suggest you to review here with detailed history or consult with the physician.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Shyam B. Kale
