Could The Pain In Jaw Be Related To Blows To The Head?

Hi, I was sparring during taekwondo practice last night and got punched hard on the left side of my forehead area a couple of times. I had full head gear on (padding and cage to protect face). I woke up this morning with left jaw pain. Hurts to open wide. Could this be related to the blows to my head?

I would think that there's a better than average chance that jaw pain (especially on the same side) as getting hit yesterday would have to do with mechanical pain from the blows to the head. If you'd like to ask any other questions specifically of myself on this network I invite you to join me at:
