But if nodule is large enough to obstruct bronchi than collapse, consolidation can cause similar kind of pain. So better to get done chest x ray and CT thorax (if needed) to rule out nodule and it s complications. If chest x ray is normal then no need to worry for nodule. You might be having musculoskeletal pain only. So apply warm water pad on affected site and start painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs. Don t worry, you will be alright.
