Could The Possible Sinus Drainage Be Causing High Blood Sugar Levels?
Blood sugar level is 307. Already took insulin but also have runny nose and post nasal drainage. Possible sinus problems. Took claritin. Having nosebleeds. Taking warfarin. What can I do to lower blood sugar? Do not know if possible sinus drainage could be causing high blood sugar levels.

hi, even if external administration of insulin is not able to lower your blood sugar then either you are suffering from insulin resistant so for this you should add some oral hyogllyaemic drugs which are known to increase insulin sensitivity and lower blood glucose by other mechanism like thiozolidinediones and biguanides, but doses of these drugs and that of insulin need to adjusted frequently according to your blood sugar level so you should consult a physician for this and go into a regular follow up.
anyway sinus drainage can not cause high blood sugar.
even if all these above fail then you should go for blood glucagon level estimation.
taking warfarin can cause nose bleed so go for its dose adjustmeant.
wish you all the best.
